KICK OFF
The Sunday Football Kickabout was now becomming a regular occurance thanks to the dedication, perserverance and hard work of Jordan. Keeping regular matches going at the Banks O'Dee pitches in Aberdeen with the power of Social Media campaigns this was increasing the numbers and awareness very quickly. Finally, Jordan could see that this was worthwile and could really make an impact to local men aged 25+.
Bringing these guys together means its a great natural way to keep fit, play fair, have a bit of a catch up and destress after a busy week. A Sunday seemed to be the best day and in January 2024 things were really progressing with a great selection of regular players from all walks of life with all sort of football and fitness level abilities.
By February of 2024 in just a short space of time things were moving from 7 a'side to 11 a'side meaning consistency of regular players looking to commit every week. The minimum requirement was 30 players to set up a game this size and most weeks he was receiving messages from over 40 to 50 potential players! A great achievement in such a short space of time.
What went from initially a game every second Sunday was now having a line up to commit to every Sunday.
THE RESULTS
Jump to only April of 2024 and Jordan was ready to take the next step in progressing things forward with The Sunday Football Kickabout.
On the search for some local businesses to support the organisation and help grow what can be offered to the players and members the deal was secured thanks to Jordans boss - Michael Gall of Michael Gall Transport, family friends Joe of Joe's Tyres Aberdeen and John from R Removals.
This allowed the funding to provide two amazing strips (Home & Away) with of course pride placement of the above mentioned. By doing this, it now allows Jordan to organise 2 committed teams and enrole them into a league - allowing the teams to play against other teams of the same levels across Scotland and the UK.
May 2024 saw Jordan up the game once more and that was by securing one of the best facilities in the city - Cormack Park - the home of Aberdeen FC's professional training facility.
An amazing feat, for what started off as just a kick about, a laugh with the lads and an oppurtunity to let like minded guys clear their heads and enjoy a bit of Football.

THE WARM UP
What started off as a bit of fun alongside a friends Football Kickabout at Goals 7 a'side pitches in Aberdeen was where Jordan Campbell found his taste for regular matches with groups of likeminded friends. Unfortunately, after the lack of commitment and beginning to cost the admins of this group money it slowly faded away. With the small number of regulars this was not enough and never as regular as some would of hoped for meaning it simply wouldnt last.
Jordan took it upon himself to think of a way to bring men from Aberdeen and surrounding areas together regularly to naturally promote some keys points. Fun, Football and Friendship.
After some planning and plenty of brainstorming Jordan took to social media and messaged around some of the guys he knew to see what the response would be for a regular football session.
After slowly building up some positive feedback it was time to take action and make
The Sunday Football Kickabout a reality!
